In The Community
Resicon actively collaborates with public programs and sustainability-driven organizations to make cleaner, more energy-efficient living possible for everyone, especially those in underserved neighborhoods.
Every project we take on is fueled by our passion for service, dedication to integrity, and belief that everyone deserves a comfortable, sustainable home.
Since Resicon started, a large part of what we do has involved working with various low-income weatherization programs. We have installed several thousand heat pumps and other products for customers in these programs who would not otherwise have been likely to be able to afford this type of energy-efficient equipment. Our community involvement with low-income, aging, and disabled customers spans a wide area.
We provide services through King County Housing Authority, Seattle Office of Housing, Seattle Housing Authority, Pierce County Human Services, Snohomish County Human Services, King County Energize, Energy Smart Eastside, and Energize Shoreline.

Making Music Possible
Music serves as a powerful source of enjoyment, emotional expression, and social connection for people. It is extremely important for childhood development, playing a crucial role in various aspects of a child’s growth. It enhances cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor skills, contributing to a child’s overall well-being and future learning.
Almost every school offers music programs for its students, but often place the burden of obtaining an instrument on the students’ families. Unfortunately, many of the kids who are excited to learn how to play an instrument and want to be a part of the music program cannot afford a musical instrument.
In an effort to bridge this resource gap, Resicon has made contributions towards Ted Brown Music for the purchase of instruments for students who cannot afford to buy them. Ted Brown Music has a strong instrument donation program, and Resicon is grateful to be able to participate and help make the dreams of young children who want to make music come true!
You can help too! Contribute to the Ted Brown Outreach Program and support a child’s musical journey today. Every donation helps a student experience the joy of music and develop lifelong skills.
Now through the end of the year, Resicon will be making additional donations in honor of select services purchased. Learn more about it here.
Energize Programs
Energize King County
Resicon partners with King County to install efficient, electric heat pumps for low- and moderate-income households, helping families reduce costs and carbon emissions through the county’s Energize Program. This initiative provides full installation coverage for low-income households and 80% coverage for moderate-income households. Resicon’s role reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship, offering multilingual support (including English, Spanish, and Korean) and partnering with local governments and nonprofits to ensure a smooth installation process and long-term customer satisfaction, ultimately enhancing indoor comfort and air quality for participating families.
Energize Thurston
Resicon is a vetted installer for Energize Thurston, a regional program that helps Thurston County residents upgrade to all-electric heat pump HVAC systems, improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As one of only four vetted installers, Resicon assists homeowners by navigating rebates, financing options, and decisions related to their heat pump upgrade. This partnership with the Thurston Climate Action Team and Thurston Regional Planning Council supports a community-driven climate solution that improves indoor air quality and maintains high standards of home comfort and reliability.
Energize Shoreline
Resicon is the designated sole installer for low-income households participating in Energize Shoreline, a program supporting the City of Shoreline’s climate action goals. Energize Shoreline focuses on replacing fossil fuel heating systems with clean, efficient electric heat pumps, helping homeowners access incentives and understand the environmental and financial benefits of electrification.
Resicon brings deep expertise and a long-standing reputation for quality service to every installation. We work closely with Shoreline residents to ensure every upgrade meets the city’s sustainability standards and exceeds expectations for comfort and performance.
Samaki Commons
Resicon completed comprehensive energy efficiency and infrastructure upgrades for Samaki Commons, a 41-unit affordable housing community in Seattle’s Rainier Valley. Selected by the Seattle Office of Housing and InterIm CDA in early 2025, Resicon performed work across all four buildings to improve year-round comfort, reduce energy costs, and promote sustainability for low-income residents.
The extensive scope of work included:
- Installing high-efficiency ductless heat pumps in every unit.
- Enhancing ventilation systems for healthier indoor air.
- Air sealing key areas to improve energy conservation.
- Repairing existing heating systems and upgrading corridor air quality systems.
- Overhauling domestic water delivery infrastructure.
Samaki Commons, developed by InterIm CDA, supports diverse low-income families and individuals, including those transitioning out of homelessness. The complex is located near the Othello light rail station and has a unique connection to the nearby Lao Highland Community Center, fostering critical support for Asian refugee and immigrant communities.
